So, why build this site?

Well, the whole project started when my 3-year-old daughter wrote a note to my cat, Punkin. The note said: "dear cat a nickel is a penny." As much as that didn't make much sense to me, it did get me thinking and writing memos. Before long, there was plenty of content.

I had originally intended on publishing the material in a nice little coffee-table book. However, my kind of motivation led me to develop this site instead. My intention is to spread a little humor about one of my favorite creatures.
